Every swimmer needs a paddler.

Getting to the start.
Friends and families of swimmers may use public parking near the Charleston Maritime Center on the day of the swim. Some street parking is available — and it is free on Sundays. It is an easy walk to the Maritime Center from most public parking.
The Charleston Frogman Swim provides shuttle service on Sunday, October 4 to the starting location. Service begins early from the Charleston Marriott hotel — event headquarters — with the last shuttle leaving the hotel area at approximately 7:00 AM.
All swimmers and paddlers must be checked-in and at the start by 7:15 AM.
Where to watch.
Once the event is underway, spectators may move to White Point Gardens (The Battery) for the best view of swimmers. Carpooling is encouraged.
Parking tends to be more plentiful along Murray Blvd. This stretch provides a long walk and plenty of opportunity to watch swimmers as they pass by.
Near the finish, please park at your hotel, the municipal building next to the Marriott, or the Joseph P. Riley baseball lot. Please do not park at Brittlebank Park — parking is limited and paddlers will be loading kayaks following the event.
